I actually found it like 2 SECONDS after I posted. It's called Forgettable Vows by pips_n_chiaw if anyone is interested. But thanks for linking that one it looks interesting, I'm definitely going to have to read it.

I honestly thought you were talking about https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6481201/1/Destiny and when I scroll down to comment I see you've found a completely different one, and that people have left other suggestions for similar ones! Anyway, I'll leave it here because I did find this story to be really enjoyable.
