Your list should correlate with the author's expressed warnings. If an author doesn't list dubious consent as a warning and only lists non-con, then I don't think anyone other than the author has the right to put it on a public dub-con list. Just because one person doesn't feel like the fic is "rapey" enough, or whatever that means, doesn't mean it isn't rape. Just because Draco is redeemable, or seemingly nicer than he could be in the situation doesn't mean it isn't rape. The entire dub-con label is problematic. It always comes across as "rape light" in fandom, perhaps to soothe the guilt of the author and reader who may enjoy it. But to each her own. The bottom line though is that it's really misleading to those who would use this list to put fics that are listed as non-con on the list.

There are at least 3 fics on your list that explicitly list a warning of non-con, NOT dub-con, they should be removed.

Shaming is never healthy or particularly healthy. I do not automatically read dubcon as "rape light," so please don't assume to speak for all of us, thanks, anon.

Yeeeeeeeeah, I'm none too keen on the implication that dubcon is used as a label to avoid admitting a work involves rape. I'm certainly not going to shy away from labeling rape as rape in my fics - see Quiritation, for one.

For me, dubcon involves situations of uncertainty. The primary question for me is "would this character say no under other circumstances?" Is she so drunk that her judgment is compromised? Is he under the influence of a potion or drug? Would she say yes if it was her choice, but someone's threatening her family/life/friends? Would he say no if he knew that he knew he was being filmed?

Like, if $CharacterA gets themselves so wasted after a night partying that they sleep with $CharacterB, who they might or might not fuck when sober? Dubcon. If $CharacterB gets slipped a roofie by $CharacterA, rape.

I think you are doing a good job, so don't let some of these people get to you. Obviously, this is a touchy genre, but I'm surprised some people are getting so up in arms since they have been reading some of these fics for enjoyment/writing them!

As for suggestions, I can help there. If anyone has a complaint about what I list as a suggestion, don't take it out on the OP, I'm simply giving suggestions and quoting the warnings the author has given.
