Fic cliches

So after seeing a rant over in fanficrants about the head boy/head girl cliche in Dramione, I started thinking about my favorite, favorite, favorite all time favorite cliches in this lil ship of ours.

1. HB/HG share a common room.
2. Veela!Draco.
3. Marriage law.

BULLETPROOF, every last one of them.

okay, so, i'm totally guilty of loving HB/HG scenarios.
that's what got me into the ship, tbh. all the cliches.

But sometimes, clichés are just the best. ♥

1. HEADBOY&HEADGIRL. I just can't help it.
2. Work/Office or something related to where they work.
3. Stuck somewhere, anywhere.

There's also the Reformed!Draco who is partnered with Hermione in the Order, or as an Auror. Or the Ministry!Enemies, fine line between lovers Hermione/Draco fics. He visits her at her office, she gets frustrated, he watches her push her hair out of her eyes a million times and they end up going at it on the desk or something.

Cliches or no, if they are well written I'm not really complaining.

Okay, my favorite cliche is Draco switching sides during the war to help defeat Voldemort. I mean... it really could have happened had JKR not hated Draco so much.

Of course, it really depends on the writing of the fic, but there are a few cliches I'm a sucker for:

1. HB/HG share a common room
2. Stuck somewhere together
3. Partnered together in class
4. Wounded Draco needs TLC, so Hermione nurses him back to being the witty, sarcastic git we all know and love
5. When Hermione's kidnapped by Death Eaters, Draco is put in charge of watching over her, but he ends up letting her go
