Don't worry about me. Worms will eat me before science does. ...which sounds morbider than I meant it to. D:

And agh, I hate when you're awake and need something to read but you've just finished your book and aren't really energetic enough to start another one.

Did I tell you about the dreams I had about eating bagels with Death Eaters during my college application days? That was weird. I was clearly nuts.

I think I remember hearing about those dreams. *g*

I'm mad, you're mad, we're all mad here.

It kind of makes me sad that I have the weirdest dreams when I'm stressed out. It means I can't spend much time writing them down.

I love A Handmaid's Tale. I'm sending Kitty a copy for Christmas/birthday (she knows, it's no secret). It's definitely one of my favourites.

Do not worry about me. I promise I am okay. <3

Jaunty Captain Jack. <3

It was good. Kind of freaky and scary, but I liked the style. It was so unusual without being impossible to read.

I worry about other people because it's easier than worrying about myself.

Have you read any other Margaret Atwood books? If not, she is a fantastic writer (Canadian!), very ... futuristic, but in a very readable way. I have recommendations if you are curious!

Amen to that one. ♥

I enjoy your icon.

Waking Nightmare is a good way to describe it. It seems that I get those obsessive thoughts that keep me awake when I'm stressed out, particularly if it's late and I have to get up earlier than usual. It's annoying. Still, it does help to get up and do something, because it takes about an hour to divert my thoughts with something else. Okay, that's a long time at three a.m. but if I don't get up, I'll just toss and turn until it's 7 a.m. :/

You probably should mention this to your doctor but you're right, pills aren't a good solution. They're just a way to postpone the moment when you really have to do something about the problem. I've noticed that exercise helps for me. When I work out regularly, I sleep better, no matter how stressed out I am.

Honestly, my doctor will probably tell me something similar as far as exercise goes. (He gets very excited about exercise.) The thing is, I can't really do too much about certain things I worry about. My mom also said lowering the dose might help, so I am going to definitely mention it to him.

Fluoxetine? What's that?

Anyway, your doctor is right to get excited about exercise. That's definitely something to get excited about. It's a miracle cure to practically anything, except maybe cancer. (Though it helps to prevent some types of cancer... so yeah, it works for anything.) :)

Just now I came back from gym. First I did a bit of an aerobic workout, then some weight lifting. Now I'm enjoying a well earned glass (or two) of red wine. All stress and anxiety demons are ousted for tonight. :)

Fluoxetine is an anti-depressant, basically it's generic Prozac. But it's what I'm on, and my mom is on it too.
