The unspoken third idea that would require me to research more than I really have time for right now, would be why the US needs revivals of 1776 and Assassins right now.

I was lucky enough to see the 2004 revival of Assassins (which was OMG AMAZING), and it seemed wonderfully timely then. But that was then, and NOW?... yeah, NOW.

Mmm... NPH... Doug was supposed to be in that and then when it got bumped from 2001 to 2004, he couldn't do it.
