NEWSFLASH!
DIRK BENEDICT DOESN'T APPROVE OF RECENT BSG SERIES BECAUSE STARBUCK IS A WOMAN! (Also possibly because she's a way better actor, gets more tail, and is approximately ninety bafrillion times more badass and awesome than he is)
I mean... wait... We've known that since like 2003. WHY IS THIS NEWS?!

Speaking of Our Lady of Perpetual Bad ( Read more... )

Dawwwwww, is the leading man getting a little butthurt? I think he is.

Somebody should have used more lube.

*sweet*

Dude, he was raging before any of it had aired. He must be super DUPER butthurt now that she's way more famous than he ever was.

What a douchebag. But, yes, WE ALREADY KNEW THAT. Recycled news, just a little?

I haven't heard anything about BF yet. I am curious, however. Probably it will suck. Boy, aren't I the optimist?

Well, they asked him about the new A-Team, so he felt free to expound on how new BSG sucked.

I am curious but not hopeful and I am MASSIVELY PISSED AT HER for choosing to hang her chances on a pilot rather than take two solid seasons on True Blood.

I am trying very hard not to think about how she could have been on True Blood. As in, covering my ears and singing very loudly, very hard. Boo on her.

If the people who made the new A-Team do even half as good a job as RDM and Co did at first with BSG 2007, I'll be all over that shit. But I doubt it. That's what made me laugh the most while reading the article: his assumptions of a possible comparison. Yep, still a douche.

regarding the last three links: yes, very very much WTF.

though i take issue with the author of the second link who claims that, hey, male circumcision is AOK! that they refer to it as "routine foreskin docking" and that it is "perfectly compatible with a healthy sex life" really, really bothers me. it shouldn't be routine, or even something that is done.

i fully realize that circumcision and fgm are really in no way equivalent (fgm is by far worse), but the idea of any sort of genital surgical manipulation for cultural or religious reasons just...no.

imho, no one should have their genitals touched in any way surgically unless medically necessary or with their own informed consent.

I have determined that I have no right to determine what happens to male genitals. And I am NOT OKAY AT ALL with "oh, it's alright, we're just pricking them. It's a cultural thing." Screw that (pun intended). Since when does the AAP bow to cultural reasoning?

probably since the cultural clout started causing them problems politically. kind of like how the school boards in texas are completely destroying the educational system there.

i'd really like to tell the AAP board that "hey, ok, we'll just go ahead and insert a needle into all of your daughters' genitals. it's just a prick, after all-no pain!" see how they react.

keep your hands off of other people's privates without their permission, please. if you want to get a prince albert or a clitoral piercing, that's your own business.
