I saw Enchanted this morning. I LOVED IT. It was sweet and charming without being saccharine. It poked delightful fun at itself. It was well cast and adorable. My one complaint? It's left me with fairy tale princess voice. You know the one I mean. The high one with a tendency to flute at the edges. It may drive me to drink. Thank god I'm legal...

Hee! I loved it, too. I've decided I'm having my hair styled similarly to Giselle's in her first scene in the real world for my wedding.

I also have the sort of voice that lends itself to fairy princess voice, which is hilarious because, looks-wise, I am far more evil queen.

Lookswise, I'm much more...dumpy stepsister. And fairy princess voice is about an octave up from my normal speaking voice, which doesn't stop me from using it...

I must thank you for this post. I decided on a whim to see it today since you enjoyed it so much, and it was SO MUCH FUN! I haven't enjoyed watching a movie so much in a long time (I've certainly seen many movies I've liked, some probably actually better than I liked this one, but I was grinning and laughing in the theater which doesn't happen often).

I've got that damned "True Love's Kiss" song stuck in my head now though and I fear it's going to be there all week. Argh.

Isn't LOVELY? I thought it was great. I'm much more about the "That's How You'll Know" song, and I came straight nome and found the soundtrack to listen to. Though actually I mostly ended up singing "Me" from the Broadway Beauty and the Beast with a very snarky female twist in the shower.
