At least you had an estate to be recluse in. I had the sewers. The whole humanity thing scared me at one time. I guess it still does but I've tried to become part of it.

I'm Angel, by the way, and I think I might've heard your name mentioned once or twice within my circle of contacts. I own an investigation agency in Los Angeles called Angel Investigations. Ever heard of it?

Indeed. I know the like. I spent some time in lesser quarters when I was a teen. Sometimes one must endure the lowest ends to find the highest.

I do not truly keep contact with such, and yet, perhaps so. I am interested in the odder side of life. Do not agencies such as yours tend to get involved in such matters?

Too, your name seems somewhat familiar, but I can't seem to place it. If you're the focus of strange rumors, though, then I might have seen a note about you somewhere. I keep an eye on interesting occurrences and people, and you sound like you have both.
