Summary: Addison helps Izzie deal with her actions.
After Izzie had confided in her, Addison hadn't really wanted to get involved in the whole mess. She was friends with Callie, and although she liked Stevens, she really didn't think it was any of her business.
It was when she found Izzie crying in the linen closet that she resigned herself to helping the poor girl. It had obviously hurt her, whatever he'd said, and knowing how much she'd lost, Addison decided that Callie might be her friend, but Izzie needed someone, someone who wasn't going to judge her for what she'd done.
"Stevens, I'm taking you out at the end of your shift." The look in Addison's eyes allowed for no argument, and grudgingly, Izzie agreed, making the redhead wonder if she'd ever been that stubborn.
They walked to Addison's car in silence, and it wasn't until they pulled out of the parking lot that Izzie spoke.
"He doesn't want me to tell anyone. I love him and I can't tell anyone, because I don't want to mess up his life. But he can't pretend like it didn't happen, it's not fair to me, or to her, and I'm not a homewrecker, but I love him."
Addison raised an eyebrow, keeping her eyes trained on the road. "Have you ever considered, I'm not the best person to talk to about this?"
"Then why did you want to take me out?"
"Because I know someone who is." Addison smiled as she pulled into the parking lot of an ornate church. She looked over at Izzie. "I'm not your girlfriend, it's not my job to tell you wether what you did was right or wrong. C'mon."
Izzie sat stunned in the car as Addison got out, letting herself be helped out into the dark. Addison gave her hand a reassuring squeeze and led her through the doors. She sat in the front row of pews and watched as Izzie headed for the confession box.
"I'll be here when you get out."
Somehow she just couldn't bring herself to follow and purge herself of her own sins.
