It's important that you restrict your child's access to movies that you know you'll hate. Otherwise they'll fall in love with it and you'll dread them wanting to watch it.

Barney the dinosaur, don't let him see that. Those four stupid brightly coloured things with the baby in the sun. Hate them.

I can highly recommend the Wiggles videos if they are up there. Great music and dancing stuff. Good to make watching TV a bit more active/interactive at this age. High 5 are also OK. Both Australian.

I sometimes break out into wiggles songs even when my daughter isn't around. There's this song about a cow that I think should be on the pop charts it's so singable.

Aw, well, at least he's starting off in a good direction (ie movies you like, too).

I have most of Aladdin, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, Little Mermaid, Anne of Green Gables (that was me), Fieval Goes West, and The Incredible Journey memorized because at my house we watched what the youngest was allowed to watch (and often pick). *shudder* I happen to loathe Disney Heorines, but have an odd soft spot for all of the songs.

I definitely endorse exposing him to The Incredibles- so cool!
