That explains the NDP press release today, that stated he'd resume funding for the arts (and that includes libraries).

(Found that on the NDP's totally cool Multimedia hub website, btw, which I can access via facebook. - I think they're trying to score the young'en vote, but without sweatervests)

Don't forget - Harper cut our national library's budget in HALF... also destroyed Status of Women Canada... he hates everything we all hold dear, not just your fabulous profession.

Harper hates librarians, archivists, history, women, the poor, the environment, animals, my access to health care, families without a stay at home parent, and. .umm.. everything else, really. I think he only likes beef, multinational corporations, and george bush.
