A Week of F & F

The last week I've been busy with family and friends, which for me is the best sort of busy to be. We had a splendid visit with Drama Dad earlier in the week. Of course the main purpose of parental visits these days is to grab as much baby-time as possible. But we had our grown up fun too

Because my dad has a *very* uncommon name and because he kept insisting that he'd never even heard of "the Facebook", I started freaking out a little.

You never know with The Facebook!! :)

Seriously, what is with my parent wanting to tack "the" onto everything? My mom does it with musical groups: "The" Jamiroquais, "The" Zero 7, "The" Becks....Sometimes it's just "Beck"!

Interestingly enough, I know a woman who refers to the internet as just "internet". As in, "I'm sure you'll be able to find it on internet". It weirds me out.
