The demon problem is all cleared up, and I am safe again, in home and hearth. The Necropolis did not fall, though we became weary toward the end as the blackened surge of our enemies nigh-overwhelmed us. On my way back, I discovered that Torrid had stolen several of my less-important magical books, so I must strive to re-capture them.

Glad the demon thing worked out okay, but come on, the guy couldn't even take the useful books? This whole 'Mwahaha, I've stolen something that no one could ever possibly care about!' shtick is getting old.

Guess it still beats sitting around here doing nothing, though. Need any help?

I just opened my safe and discovered that a very important and magical tome is missing. So yes, he did indeed steal a useful book. If you could, please brew up several exploding potions and a batch of that wonderful soup you make.

And sure, I can do that, but maybe it wouldn't hurt to just call him up and ask him to return the books first.
