I don't suppose anyone has any suggestions for something to do while cooped up in a house? And yes, reading has already been thoroughly covered.

Do you like to do anything artsy? I'm not particularly good at it, but I like to draw and work on my sketching!

There are a lot of things you can do alone and in company of others.

Really? What do you like to sketch?

I'm aware of that, yes. But company's stretched thin as of late.

Recently I've been trying people. Nothing too intense, just rough sketches and features. I like things that look like air, nice and light and maybe a little abstract, but still structured.. the best thing about art is that it doesn't bind you down to one thing, it allows you to be constantly moving.
It's good when you're stuck and can't go anywhere, because your mind always can!

The trouble's always in getting minds to go back. Once they set out wandering, paperwork just doesn't hold the same luster it once did.

You must've practiced a long time.

ok, i pretty much spent my whole life trapped in my house.
this is easy!
i'm the expert on this subject.
i just talked to my friends, played video games, watched nic cage movies...
... but you're in the 60s, so you don't have any of my cool stuff.
bummer.
oh, i could bring you things??

No, I'm afraid I don't. It's so unbearable to live a life without... whatever nic cage movies are.

What sort of things?

nicolas cage!!!
he's an actor.
no, he's not just an actor.
he is the best actor of all time.
things like dvd players and movies and video games!
you have a shitty 60s tv so i can't hook up any consoles to it, but i could bring you portable things.
i have some gameboys, and i think i have a portable dvd player?
i mean, i guess it's not like i need any of this stuff now.
what with being busy making a new world and all!

Portable ones? As in not wired in? Oh, so they're battery powered, are they?

Yes, that does seem like quite a lot of work. I'm having enough trouble getting some of my projects off the ground.

Some people find great pleasure in writing, I know I do.

You obviously have Internet, you could entertain yourself with something. What sort of things you like?

Those some people aren't me, I'm afraid.

I'd refrain from assuming, myself.

Or talk to people here. That can cure boredom sometimes.

At the very least, it's certainly distracting.

Jog in place, do jumping jacks, sit ups, push ups, then practice standing on your hands for 30 minutes straight.
