That was both of us, to be honest. He envied my mind, and I was jealous of the fact that he was able to woo the ladies with my own words simply because he possessed a moustache and a specific set of genitalia.

I allowed him to take credit for the stories as long as he used our title as the "father of science-fiction" to push for women's rights. So he organized and published my ideas without complaining too much, and moved on to stories he was more comfortable with after we parted ways. We both accomplished what we wanted.

Nowhere interesting, unfortunately. That was the start of the "missing years" I've told you about. I did end up in America eventually, though, but that's not particularly fascinating.
