Things are looking up. I feel a lot better now. My back doesn't even hurt anymore. In fact, I got a chance to take a nice, long walk today. Beautiful weather. Nice people around here.

[Aya had been in the shower when he'd heard Ken come back. It was good to know that he was alright at least so he finished what he was doing, drying off then heading to his room.

He didn't notice the book right away since he was grabbing clothes to get dressed in. However, it was hard not to notice that the book had been moved when he turned around. Blinking, he went over to it and picked it up to see what had happened. Since the flower hadn't been in there that long, it was easy to find the location. Staring at it, he let his mind wrap around the fact that it was there before he left the book on his bed and took the flower with him to go to Ken's room.]

Ken?

[For once, Ken was reading as well. Of course, it was a lot lighter than one Aya would read but it was still reading something other than a sports magazine.

He didn't look up when he heard Aya come in. After all, who else would it be? Besides, he was used to hearing Aya moving around in the little apartment, so the sound left him completely at ease.]

[It's obvious on his face that he found the flower and he comes over to the bed to hold it up.]

A lilac... [Yes, he knows the meaning of that. He's a florist too.]

[Now that made him glance up, dark eyes silently watching the redhead for a long moment.]

... yeah. I found a little shop a few blocks away and picked it up.
