I mainly use oil, too. If I have the time, I burn pine and then mix it with the glue from animal horns.

...I'm not sure how oil paints are made on my world, actually. I prefer song and poetry to the drawn arts, so my knowledge of them is nada.

We're in the middle of what the Earths call an industrial revolution. We've got magic, although the use of it is fairly rare given how difficult it is to get it. Most of the world is fairly warm. There's a few dozen city states around the place, but most of this world is wilderness.
