The man who created me, Claire. I didn't even know what having a family was like until I was a teenager and that was stripped away before I got a chance to really enjoy it.

Hell, I'm lucky I'm even standing here now - I was supposed to be used as a living weapon against a tyrannical mutant and then go 'poof'.

What was I supposed to say, Roxas? "Oh, by the way, my powers are slowly killin' me"? Not exactly something someone wants to hear when they first meet someone new.

Haven't found a way yet here, but ... Claire, Pete, and Hope have already offered to start lookin' for something in their worlds, so. Hopefully we can turn up some sort of lead.
