anti-introductions

I am getting remarkably bored of these introductions, useful as they may be.

So how about we have some anti-introductions. Who are the people you would not like to see on the community, and why? People you hate from your own world, people who would be broken by the idea of other universes...that kind of thing.

An example:

It is not that I dislike him, but I do not think this place would be very good for him. It is much too- unstructured.

Saotome Ranma
Age: 19
Occupation: Student and Martial Artist
Reason: He is my sister's finace, and many things happen to him. Rather similar things that this, place does to others. I would not wish for him to become involved in more than he already has been.

T-that is much too selfish of them! One's own happiness should never be put before the well being of one's child.

Would that that opinion become more common.

I certainly hope that it does, sir. It is much too sad to think that it is a common occurrence in any place.

At least it is uncommon in your world, correct?

It is not. I had not even heard of such thinking until this moment.

Hmm. Normally I might suggest you take a look around the ghetto area of your largest city...but you might not even have those in your world.

I am not certain what that might be, but Tokyo is a very large city. It has many places I may not know of.

Any place where people are hungry and powerless will do, though there are more trapped people in cities than in towns.

Ah. Desperation has led to many unfortunate things. Tokyo is one of the largest cities, so perhaps such things have happened here. If they have, I hope that the children found a better place.

Some places are better able to protect the powerless than others. Perhaps your world has systems in place to protect abused children?

I believe so, though I am uncertain how the laws work, exactly. I suppose I could ask father. It would be reassuring to know that they would be provided for if such an event were to occur.

Reassuring...but perhaps unrealistic.Evil works it way into most systems.

Even so, that such a body would exist must say something of intention. If it functions even moderately well, I think it would help much more than it would harm.

One would hope so.

That is the least we might do.
