There's been another accident with a student at the school.
Someone put poison in a bottle of wine belonging to Prof. Slughorn, which he was going to share with a pair of students. One of them drank it and would have very likely died if his friend hadn't quickly used a bezoar to save him.
This is the second time this year that a student's nearly died. I hope that it will be the last.
((He's going to do his very best not to let Harry and Ron know their involvement, since he doesn't want them to freak out over the very-likely-dying thing.))
