The community's changed my posts, I think I've been cursed and I'm on sick leave. I think this is a new record for concentrated misery.
[He's looking younger and isn't wearing make up or colorful clothing; instead, he's got on a worn gold and green uniform. But he does look tired. Very tired.]
[She frowns slightly at the mention of the first part; this shifts to full-on concern at the words "cursed" and "sick"]
That sounds awful. Is the sick leave related to the curse?
[Trying to aid his attempt at optimism now] Well I guess...mom sometimes mentions trouble coming in threes, so if that's the case then at least that should be it for now?
No, it's just aggravated by it. My magic's not working like it usually does, and this curse may make it act even stranger. But it's not making me...uugh, I just feel like punching everything out. Or staying in bed all week.
It's always in threes. A fickle beauty, a doom and a ghost; everything's been hit up. All I need is a fancy white dress and I'll be in a proper opera!
...A dress wouldn't be too bad, really. Bring something home, right?
