Who wants to see my video?
[ooc: PLEASE READ! If your character watches this video in its entirety, please comment here either ICly or give me a link to an IC contact post so that Samara can "call" them (for characters without phones, she'll just be doing it through the community) and place a curse on them! Those cursed will start experiencing any of the following effects, which will get worse and worse each day:
- a sense of foreboding or fear
- nosebleeds
- coughing up strange things related to Samara (hair, white fabric, small pieces of medical equipment, etc.)
- dreams related to the video and Samara
- seeing images from the video in everyday life
- inability to get images from the video out of their mind
- compulsion to find out the meaning of the images
- compulsion to draw images from the video
- compulsion to get others to watch the video
In addition:
- anything around them with holes may start leaking small amounts of water
- horses will be terrified of them, possibly to the point of harming or killing themselves to get away
- their faces will be distorted in photos or video images
- they may experience visions of Samara, and if she touches them, they'll see flashbacks of her life (please contact me if you want to do this one, so that we can plot)
In theory, Samara will kill affected people by the seventh day-- but as the virus will be over by that point, you don't have to worry about a resurrection plan for your characters! As soon as the timeskip is over, all symptoms will go away... though of course they're free to remember what happened.]
