is fate even real, or conquerable? why do we believe in it, yet run from it so? what does meeting fate mean, to cause us to avoid it?

What a peculiar habit. You really should keep it under check.

I've already defied what would have been my "fate" twice. Besides that, right now I am in complete and utter control.

I think people can make their own fate, to an extent, but I do believe that we're all destined for something.

If somethin' like fate exists, it's gotta be a game like in a casino, right? The odds're just stacked, but you can win. Otherwise we'd just be calling winning or losing a given and the words fate and chance and win and lose and lucky would just be the same thing and it wouldn't have no meaning.
