[Accidental video| locked from Finn and Santana | visible for the rest] SPOILERS For the NBK epp

Dec 07, 2010 19:46

[ooc note: The video is mirrored, I couldn't find a better version of the scene. There's also an additional scene at the end with Blaine, please ignore that part. Karofsky and Kurt will be replying to this, but Kurt's replies come 5 hours later. His replies are voice, since he is shaking too much to type.]
You are about to view some epic shit )

[He's in his quarters working on a personal project when the community decides to take over his computer again. He's about to give up and shut the computer off, but he pauses, frowning. He doesn't know Kurt, but he recognizes the extremely homophobic young man from the other post. Even so, he's not sure he should get involved. So have one Chief Engineer, just eying the computer thoughtfully.]

I am. [He doesn't sound smug about it, though.]

[Nothing wrong with admitting your talent. Kurt does that too.]That's good. What's your job now?

I'm the Chief Engineer aboard the USS Enterprise.

[He's glad, at least, that he's managed to help Kurt get his mind off what's happened, even if it's only for just now.]

The Enterprise? As in..the space ship?

[Yes, talking helps ♥]

Aye, the very same. You know her?

[He's not going to ask how. Nope. Because Spike's damn well told him he's fictional, and Sulu's mentioned that it's possible and he's not going to think about it. He's just going to assume that Kurt knows his crewmates.]

Yes, I've heard a bit about it. [Kurt realized that the fictional/real line here is complicated.] Traveling the space must be fascinating.

That's one way o' puttin' it. [He sounds mildly amused, mostly because of Kurt's choice to use the word 'fascinating'. It's one he hears quite often from a certain pointy-eared crewmate.]

There's nothin' in the galaxy like it.

Well, there's still plenty o' time, aye? Me, I've been travelin' since I was eighteen. You've probably guessed it by now, but that was a long time ago.

[A small smile.] You don't look too old. But I get your point. What's your favorite planet?

I've been tae so many I don't think I could name a favorite. My ship's home now, more than any planet ever could be.
