I don't know much about what my family was like. My parents were said to be craftsmen, I had an older brother that died before I was two. He died hunting--or so the story goes. My parents were killed in a raid when I was very young.

As a fellow hunter of sorts, I'm sorry to hear that. Same with your parents. I guess I shouldn't really ask what the raid was about... Either way, it's never easy when you're very young.

I never really knew them--I miss them, and I wish I got to know them better. ... The raid was in the middle of a war, my village just happened in the way.

And it sounds to me that you're very proud of them. Tell me more? What did they get up to that defined them as good people?

What is considered 'family' in your world? Are people who are not related to you by blood allowed to be family members?

...don't see why not if they're more important than your biological family. I mean, people think that I'm actually the cousin of a good friend of mine. Aside from the political reasoning behind it, we do look pretty similar and we're especially close. So I guess she's almost like family too.

Then...I suppose I would consider my biological sister family, as well as Sen Sajiteh, my court musician.

...now I wonder if there's something about the musically talented that draws people closer to them. I know Katniss can sing. How about your musician?

I love my family very much! Mama is very young and beautiful, and works hard to take care of everyone in a calm manner, and Papa is very intelligent and teaches me everything I need to know about mechanics! They both do, really, no matter how busy they are with work they're always here for me!

You're a mechanic? What kind of things does your family work on, I wonder?

Well, Papa teaches sometimes now, but in the past he's worked on helping to develop mobile suits!

What's a... mobile suit? Sounds interesting.
