...this feels a bit daft, to be writing to a journal, but then again the journal did start writing to me in the first place, so I suppose that it's just as well I try to communicate. How is this working, anyway? Is this some sort of charm or something? It's definitely too elaborate for anything P&P might have done. At least, I think so, at any rate
