Heh. Everyone else is all flustered and worried about Christmas around here - both at the café and here on the community - and for once, that's one of the last things on my mind. Not that it isn't there, but it's just not as impending as this ( Read more... )

Are you wanting for me to go to a hospital?

No, because I don't want you to be more uncomfortable. I'm just not sure of what we need to do to prepare for her arrival.

If you wish, I can ask Sakura if she knows of anything. It may be best if we go to her house when the time comes regardless.

...Hm. If you aren't going to a hospital, the next best thing to do would be to hire a midwife or other professional to assist you. Avoiding hospitals is one thing, but you want the baby to come out healthy, and someone who knows what they're doing should be there.

Your job, as a male with no birthing experience, will be to keep your wife calm.

Doctor would probably be the best bet, but I'm a little wary of some of the doctors on this place. Like, I don't need Birkie there.

Oh boy.

A non-community doctor would be your best bet, I agree.

It's a difficult task, but someone has to do it.

Guess that means I'll have to look into the ones here and in Fuyuki.

I know, I know.

People give birth at hospitals on your world? Why?

Because they have the expertise and the equipment? Ask Cuddy about it sometime.

Why is that everybody's answer to everything whenever I ask a question?

It's my answer to this 'cause last time I checked, she worked in a hospital, and most hospitals have maternity wards.

There really is not that much time left, is there? I do not have much knowledge in these things, but if there is anything I can help with, let me know.

Nope; the time flew by. Seems like we just found out, and now the due date's almost here. Thanks for the offer - I'm sure either Rider or myself will let you know.
