[Softly] I don't know. This... illness she has... is being caused by something called "nanomachines." I don't really know what it is, but it's pretty bad.

Her dad is busy working on a cure as we speak. That's why the rest of us have to try and keep her fever down long enough for him to finish his work.

Nanomachines. I know that word. I read it in a magazine. They are microscopic robots, I think?

There are some robot-people here, or so I was told...maybe one of them can assist you?

Yeah... That's what Clive said before. I still don't really understand it, though.

I don't know any of them all that well, and... I'm not sure if I'd trust them enough not to hurt Virginia. Those "robots" aren't all that different from the Metal Demons we've been fighting.

Wait, how did that happen?

We were almost out of Nidhogg Pass when Leehalt showed up and challenged us. But I guess he was pissed at losing to us, so he placed a curse on Virginia. Then, her dad showed up out of nowhere, and... he says these nanomachines are what's making her sick.

[A pause.] I hate this! She's dying right before my eyes and there's nothing I can do about!

You could always go after Leehalt.

[Angry] You don't think we've thought of that already?! We have no idea where the Prophets' base of operations is!

I hate this! I've gotta sit here and do nothing while Virginia lays here dying, and her only hope is with her deadbeat dad!

I don't... I don't know if she's gonna pull through or not. I mean, she's gotten into some pretty rough spots, but... I was always around to watch her back if things got too tough for her to handle.

These nanomachines... I can't fight them. This time, she's gotta battle alone... And there's nothing I can do to help her...

She's unconscious now. And even when she's awake, I don't think she's even aware of her surroundings. Gallows is busy keeping her fever down with his ice magic, and we're all taking turns tending to her.

It's just... Dammit, why'd he have to curse Virginia? That's just low, hurting a woman! Those Prophets are gonna have hell to pay when I get my hands on them!
