[Backdated to Day 1 of the Virus]

...There's a girl in my apartment. She says her name is Kyrie. I have no idea how she got here, but I'm pretty sure she's not from my world.

Also, we can't stop touching. I know it sounds crazy, but it's like we're stuck together. We have to stay in constant physical contact or we both start to feel ill.

I know it has something to do with this ( Read more... )

...just wait it out. Given the other posts people made today as well as my own situation it's probably safe to say that no-one knows how to undo it. If there is one. I'm sure it won't last longer than a few days.

Thanks for the advice. I guess it could be worse. At least Kyrie seems okay. Hopefully it wears off soon and things can go back to normal.

From what I've heard it could be, yes. Kyrie is nice, I talked to her before.

...I hope so too.

Seems like I was lucky, then. You know Kyrie? This is the first time we've met. I didn't even know she was a member of the community.

Are you affected at all?

Oh, so you're stuck with the little lady, huh? Be thankful, Rebecca. You could be stuck with someone far worse.

It's a virus, but hell if I know when it finishes. Better be soon though, I don't think a lot of us are gonna like it otherwise.

...you two know each other?

I'd already kind of worked that out, thanks. Kyrie's okay. I can think of worse people to be stuck with.

How about you? Stuck to anyone interesting?

You could say that. She's from my world, met her when I met the kid. Nero. I'm pretty sure you'll be hearing from him soon. Heh.

Yeah, though interesting isn't the right word, or phrase. More like- someone has a horrible sense of humor. I'm stuck with my brother. Not a fun thing, trust me.

Nero? I don't think we've met. I guess he's not going to be happy to hear Kyrie's here, huh? I hope he doesn't think this is my fault.

Really? Your brother? That doesn't sound so bad. Don't you get along?

Being forced to touch someone doesn't sound all that terrible compared to some of the other viruses I've heard about. Depending on the other person, it could almost be pleasant, don't you think?

Compared to something like the T-virus, this is only sort of annoying. But it could be worse. I could be stuck to you.

T-virus? You think so small. Maybe you should come down to my lab some time and I'll show you my G-virus. I think you'd enjoy it very much. And I could always use some more combat data.

You say that as if I would at all enjoy being with you for an extended period of time.

G-virus? Oh, right. Leon mentioned something about that. I'll pass, thanks.

Trying to hurt my feelings, Birkin? Trust me, you're the last person I'd ever want to spend this virus with.

It's okay, Kyrie. It's not your fault. And you can call me Rebecca.

I know what you meant, Steve.

I've been affected by the community viruses before, but this is the first time I've had anyone show up in my apartment without explanation. How about you?
