I actually got my answers very easily, without much thinking about it at all. Coming up with reasons behind - not that took more effort. Or maybe I was just in a tl;dr mood.

It's one of my favourite Suzaku pictures. Of course, I downloaded a great big file from LOL 4chan of pictures of him, so I have a lot of favourites to chose from.

And as for actual comment on the entry: I like Light a lot better than most other characters of Death Note (Matsuda excepted), too, but that was more because I *had* to admire his brilliance and audacity. But, the only reason I read that manga all the way to the end was to see him get his comeuppance. I was actually a little bit disappointed.

And Spike is snarky sex personified. 'Nuff said.

I think Light is by far the most interesting person in Death Note, but like I've said before, I tend to see Death Note as "The Tragedy of Light Yagami". It's about his rise and fall, and would be incomplete if he doesn't have his downfall at the end.

Oh Spike, invoker of all those teenage hormones.

Yeah, I was actually a little disappointed by the way that downfall was executed, but I agree he needed to have it. (And it's his story, anyway, whether it's called the tragedy of Light Yagami or Death Note).
