I watched Top Chef and let me just say omgwtfRIGGED! I don't even want to watch the final. :x

However, my LJ is now Tom Welling/Clark Kent compliant so it's not all bad. ;D

The whole surprise quickfire elimination challenge was clearly rigged to oust Dave. Not one single dish of Tiffani's was liked by any of the three groups, she didn't win any of the three stages (Dave won one), and her last set were described as rubbery, fishy, and salty. And yet they kept her. :p

It was total BS. In the final stage, he got flustered and forgot that there were supposed to be three dishes and only made two. The "judges" of that set all raved about his dishes and how they met their criteria (high protein, high carb, low fat), but Tom used that missing dish as their excuse, even after telling Dave that he'd have won that round if he'd had anything for a third dish on there.

As a consumer I'd much rather wait extra long for my food, than get something that's going to be rubbery, fishy, and salty. :p
