Ouch. Tongue-biting is one of those relatively 'minor' ailments that scares the hell out of me. Literally every time I go up the stairs or stand on top of a chair, for example, I clamp my teeth shut because I'm paranoid I'll trip and bite it off. It makes me shudder.
I love Wallace and Gromit! I got the DVD for Valentine's Day, and enjoyed it immensely. Then went looking for icons immediately afterward, and finally filled up my six.
I did that once when I was in grade-school... I was probably in 7th or 8th grade. We were in gym class, doing gymnastics type-stuff, like trampoline, springboard, and stuff...
I don't exactly know how it happened. I ran to the springboard, vaulted over the pommel [sp?] horse, and did a flip or something in the air, but overshot or something. I landed fine, but it didn't seem right, and it caught me off guard... So when my feet hit the ground, the impact slammed my jaw shut on my tongue... ;_; Ow. I didn't have any feeling or taste in it for a while, either... The gym got pretty messy too. Awr.
