The good: I've purchased my PAX '07 pre-registration badge and my Amtrack ticket. This year a whole giant group of people going to PAX from the west coast decided to take the super-cheap train instead of flying. Plus, this way we can hang out for a day with people from relatively the same area. Also, I'm loving my winter classes. I r teh Java king

I saw their wives in the audience holding the kids during one of the panels, and I'm sure they were around for most of the event.
