I did something last night that I've been putting off and dreading, which turned out not to be so horrible. Yes, I went clothing shopping. I'm going to a wedding in two weeks, and I wanted something new to wear to it. I found something too. I had a very nice sales girl helping me put together outfits because I can really wear dresses. Love the new icon!

Personally, I'd go with the cami/sweater/skirt combo, but that's more my style than the other shirt. Though I do like the other shirt. I'd just have to work up a lot of courage to wear it.

That said . . . where'd you get the clothes? 'Cause those are really nice.

Lane Bryant. They're on the expensive side, but one of the few places I can usually find clothes that fit.

The cami/sweater is more my style too, but the other top felt dressier. I can always take it back.

Did you see my email? The one to the group? I can't send anything to your AOL address.

AOL and Yahoo are being bitchy with each other again, huh? Lovely fun. *sigh* I keep telling myself that we'll actually switch servers soon, but then I get distracted and busy and just don't do it. Maybe if I tape a note to the computer or something Aric'll remember to do it.

But, no, the email to the group hasn't come through yet, either. I'll head over to the group's page, though.

Lane Bryant is sometimes expensive, but I agree with you on the clothes thing. Considering how much I hate buying new clothes, having something that fits when I do makes the price more worth it. If that makes sense...

Yeah. I would have happily done the beta, but I had no way of telling you that since I couldn't mail to AOL and you haven't been on YIM all day. Funny, the message I sent to the group came through right away. Another miscommunication thing I'd wager. Sigh.

I know what you mean about LB. If I only go on shopping sprees once in a while, it's worth it to have clothes that actually fit. I spent enough to have $75 Real Women dollars the next time I go shopping. Their evil plan to get me back to go look at those other clothes that weren't on sale but were very cute.

I know I have you to thank for the IR nom, so thanks! Lane Bryant may be on the expensive side, but they've got nice stuff.

You're welcome for the IR nom! You know I adore that story!

And I think the expense was well worth it! You're going to look absolutely stunning in those clothes!

I'm surprised Lane Bryant's website doesn't use more accurate models for the clothing. When the salesgirl showed me the cami, I honestly didn't think it would look okay on me. But surprisingly it did.

yeah their site leaves a little to be desired. I don't usually wear tanks of any kind mostly beacause of an old injury you can see with them

I'm voting for the cami/sweater because I'm a very practical person and I think you'd get more use out of them. But they're both lovely. Tough choice.

Congrats on the noms! :)

I think you're probably right. While I like the other top, I probably won't wear it very often. The cami/sweater combo is also a little better for a daytime wedding.

Umm I think the sweater is too much with the cami...IMHO. I think the cami is a stand alone. It has too much detail to go under sometheing. I like the first shirt. I also like the cami. I think also a black skirt would look lovely with that first top. Ok I'm done. *GRINS* I love fashion.

The wedding's in Maine, so come sundown, I'll probably need that sweater. It was hard to tell in the picture, but the base for the first top is brown, not black, hence the brown skirt.

Ahhhh gotcha yeah it is hard to tell that the first shirt is mainly brown. I'd go with the first top and the sweater and skirt. Just my opinion.
