I think this is the bitchiest that I've ever written Buffy, but sadly, I think she's still mostly in character.

I think she's completely in character. She never seems to think about anyone else before she opens her mouth. I think it makes sense that she would try to throw a spanner in the works for Willow without even considering what Willow has just gone through, and that her words could be construed as meaning that Willow isn't attractive enough for a guy to want unless he's evil and has ulterior motives.
