So - all of the regular readers of my journal know that my Grandpa's in a nursing home for physical therapy right now, and most people that know me know I'm volunteering there. HELLO INTERNET. I'm kinda sick at the moment, but I'm much better than I was yesterday. I am tired and headachy and all I want is ice cream and coffee. I feel a little dizzy and stuff, but I'm better off than I was. I feel a little yucky and at this point I think I could start barking at my dog and having a good conversation with him ( Read more... ) -

Last night, after what felt like weeks, I was laying in my own bed again and unable to sleep, again, and the combined tiredness and lack of anything else to do made my thoughts wander. Grandpa was moved to a new hospital. Found something in his spine. More information as it presents itself.

Grandpa is in the hospital. We went to see him yesterday and today. The nurses have been regularly checking on him, taking his sugar, stuff like that. Last night he was hallucinating a little - we think because of the meds - and he was thinking he was home at times, and other times he thought there were paintings on the walls and that stuff was ( Read more... ) -
