It's her first ever trip-away-from-parents: heading north, into the iconic Australian outback, with the two-headed scraptracker entity. I love those dreams, visitations. I've had dreams like that with my dad, my grandparents, Vince... I take them as messages saying "I'm OK, and you will be too, because I'm always sort of around."

Me too :) I had one from my Pop, Nan's husband, just after he died. I've a feeling she caught wind of LJ's mentality right now and said "hey, Frank: how do you do that thing you did?".
