I went stark-raving mad waiting for New Super Mario Bros.Wii to be released. Then, I went a little loonier waiting to get to a shop and buy it. Today I finally (finally!) grabbed a copy.

For $3.

It really, really is. I was all but licking the case with lust on the way home yesterday, and my perversion was not misplaced!

Glad to hear it's golden platform fun. May have to be my Christmas present so we can play it with the kids. Is it updated versions of the SNES SuperMario Bros All Stars or brand new platformer?

Brand new! And it's glorious. Some of the levels are freaking hard (they've added castles that scroll vertically instead of side-to-side, the nasty buggers) and some are pure, easy fun (yay, riding Yoshi!). Two worlds down, don't know how many to go...
