Ever notice that once you start a series of books, the rest of the world is very insignificant until you've finished the whole of them, and even for a while after you've stopped reading? Similarly with writing if you're on a wave. Otherwise its not. I wonder if that's why some people read constantly and why others read rarely. The whole alternate

I think you could get addicted to anything. Except maybe not physiologically.

huh? i thought that physiologically was one of the possible areas for addiction.

You can get addicted, just not physiologically addicted. You can get, like, psychologically addicted.
