This isn't me asking to pick up Sheik again or whatever because he's already been outed as Gemini, but... I'm sorry, but I really would have appreciated being told someone else was planning to pick up Rinali before I dropped him.
A lot of reasoning went into dropping, mostly rooted to the fact that eventually Sheik would get a position and he'd have to take a side, which would be character development to wake him up from his general apathy to the war going on. However... now that Rinali is picked up, I can't put Sheik back into the same position without being unfair (although I did express interest in picking him up at some later date, and that's also why he wasn't killed, I thought), but I guess I just feel it would have been nice to have been informed that there was someone else wanting to pick Rinali up before I did this and lost the Gemini slot.
We weren't informed that Selena was intending on picking her up until after you dropped Sheik. I don't think any of us knew that your having him as Gemini was dependent on the Kamui being Rinali. :/ And we didn't kill Sheik off mostly because it'd mess up some things with other characters. I for one didn't know you were planning on picking him up again.
Well, it's not so much dependent on the Kamui being Rinali... as it was there being a Kamui at all. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to come off as whiny or anything, really. What's done is done, and I understand that. I also realize that I really did not communicate my thoughts on the manner correctly when it all happened, and that's entirely my own fault.
However... I don't see how killing off Sheik specifically would mess things up, because isn't that the game? Death happens, everyone else reacts...?
We would have had to replace Rinali with someone else anyway if she had been killed off, because there has to be a Kamui. So. :/
It's okay. ♥ I understand what you're getting at. I think that there was just a lot of miscommunication regarding it. The only reason we even really asked if you were planning on keeping him was because he was on the drop list for the activity check, otherwise there wouldn't have been a question.
