Some days you just know...

Dec 22, 2008 20:52

Things I don't want to hear first thing in the morning:

My elderly neighbor sitting on his loo singing The Twelve Days of Christmas in a lovely baritone... When you hear that you just know the rest of the day is bound to be crappy :/

Just when you think you’ve finished… )

thank you's, shopping, kids, neighbour, christmas, friends, housework, twilight, family

Don't mention the food.
Since we don't have a freezer unit, everything - and bit that I mean about 95% of shopping- needs to be done Tuesday and Wednesday. Wednesday will be the total madnesss!!!
(At least I will the only one at the QuickCheckOut counter)

I like Rob's new hair. *g*

Oh no! I really, really feel for you, honey. I have actually done that one year - food for fifteen people for Christmas lunch bought on Christmas Day (we got paid late) and it was a nightmare! I hope you're able to get through it smoothly and not forget anything!

I don't mind his new hair either. Nothing really detracts from his sexiness ;)

It sucks.
I'd wish we had a car and a freezer unit. Shopping would be so much easier.

I am currently in love with the jeans he is wearing and the rip at the knee *swoons*

I couldn't live without my four freezers, but then we're in a different climate. No car? I don't know how you manage.

They do look good on him, but I'm really beginning to worry about the boy's wardrobe - Santa needs to bring him some new clothes for Christmas ;)

I finish work at 9.30 tonight and I'm going to a huge 24 hour supermarket on the way home. Anything I can't get there I'll do without because I'm not battling my way into town tomorrow.
I keep waking up at all hours, thinking "what day is it?" !

That's my attitude as well - if I forget something when I go for the fresh fruit tomorrow too bad!

I spent all of yesterday doing that! I constantly had to keep reminding myself that it was Monday and that I still had a few days left ;)

*pats* It'll all be over soon... Hopefully you'll get some good sleep in before long!

(Rob totally needed that haircut. *flees*)

A couple of restful hours would do me :) I'm to the point where I'm wishing it to be Saturday *g*

He did need a haircut *nods* Because sex hair out of control is not good sex hair ;)

Wow! That sounds even crazier than usual for you. I hope that you manage to get everything under control, and that nothing new pops up!

Welcome to Christmas! The extra craziness is of my own doing, because I'm anal and my house must be spotless over the holidays, but I can't let it go - it just has to be and that's all!

If anything new pops up I will officially go insane, because my brain just can't take much more ;)

This Christmas business is really something, isn't it? I hope you get some sleep soon because it can't be fun running around on empty like that.

*snuggles* All the best wishes, m'dear.

P.S.
Remind Tori that it'll grow back in no time.

Yeah, it is for us *g* It was my mother-in-law's favorite time of the year, so it's important to make it special for us as a family. Of course, my house must be spotless, so I can relax over the holidays as well (that and I'm anal *wink*).

It's not fun running on empty, knowing I could be far more effective if I could think straight, but I fear I'll be like this until Christmas Eve *sigh*

I did try to tell her that it'll grow back, but she wouldn't have it - she's devastated *pats her*

*snuggles*
