Not really, actually. I edit these in Word, so all I have to do is write them normally, then do a global S&R on "name:". Since I don't use that format elsewhere, it's pretty easy. It's closing the eight million italics tags that always gets me.
Also, couldn't you just use the same logic for the italics tags - use a unique character (like a square bracket) and then do a find and replace as well?
Possibly, but the pain from the italics isn't so much the adding of them, it's when I typo or forget to close one, the rest of the post ends up italicized. I'm getting much better about that, though.
