The carpet came around in front of the inn, and touched down. Draco moved to help support Mia to lead her down toward the inn. A simple spell would take care of levitating their belongings inside.

"All right there, luv? I'll get the door." But before he could do so, the innkeeper emerged to hold the door open for them.

"I'm fine, Beloved," she says, gladly accepting his help. "You did well flying the carpet."

The innkeeper nods them in, saying, "Majesty Mia, Master Draco, a pleasure to see you both again. It's been too long since you've visited Lann."

"Well, we needed a weekend away," Mia replies to him. "It won't be long before we can't take them the same way we can now."

It's at this point that the innkeeper does a proper doubletake and notices how Mia is showing.

"Why Majesty Mia, it's an honor to have you visit here while you're still able. We'll be sure to make you and Master Draco comfortable during your stay."

She giggles a little.

"That tickles," she tells him, carefully flexing her feet. "Would you mind getting my ankles? Carefully. They seem to get the most of this."

She puts her hands on her stomach.

"Oh, your parents are going to hate me if they see you doing that, aren't they?" she asks.

"I really don't care what they think. Anyway, I caught my father once giving my mum a shoulder massage after an argument."

They were arguing about Hogwarts instead of Durmstrang for Draco at the time.

She softly giggles.

"Should I keep that in mind the next time we have an argument? Or should we just skip to the fun part of what comes after an argument?"

"I would say keep it in mind so we can get to the fun part sooner?" He smirked at her.

"That sounds good. And what you're doing feels good."

Though she does wince shortly after that.

The baby's feet are trying to make friends with her ribs.

He immediately stopped his hands around her ankles at the wince.

"Darling? You all right?"

After a moment, she nods, softly exhaling.

"The baby's just kicking in a funny spot, that's all."

Draco nodded, and started again. "He sounds like he'll be demanding already." Slightly amused at that.

"All babies are," she says. "Until they start to learn how to take care of themselves, that's all they know how to be."

She rubs at the spot on the upper part of her tummy.

"I'd like it if he moved soon. Or took a nap."

Mia leans her head back a little into the chair.

"Maybe you were right. A snack might be a good idea. He sometimes takes a nap after I've had an afternoon snack."

Draco kissed her cheek before standing up.

"What do you feel like today?" He's slowly getting used to her odd food whims and cravings.

She gives him a kiss on his cheek back.

"I think I'd like some vegetables with some salad dressing. Oh, but could you set some aside with some peanut butter and raisins?"

"I could do that. And setting aside some of which? the vegetables or the dressing?"

"The vegetables. Unless you think we should try for some eastern Earth cuisine tonight, but I'd rather see what the innkeeper's family is making."

She rubs at her tummy again and says, "I know, I'm hungry, too, dear. That's why Papa's fixing us a snack."

"We have time, I'll fix this for now."

Draco then headed into the kitchen, and there was soon the sounds of chopping and preparing. Is he cheating with kitchen charms to speed it along? Oh yeah.

Hey, he has a pregnant wife to feed and there aren't any 7-11s around. You do what you gotta do, Draco.

"Could I have a glass of water, too, Draco?" she calls.

There, that sounds like a good snack.

..........

"And maybe some crisps, if we have them?"

Okay, that will do.

..........

"And do we have any cheese?"

And to think, she was the one who originally turned down the idea of having a snack.
