I have NO WORDS to describe this brilliant piece of fiction that you dedicated to me. Morbid it may be, but plain, it most definately is not. It's one of the best fanfic I've read in a while and your exposition of the mood was superb.

You could call me biased, but I loved every part of this. I felt that you put your heart into writing every word (not that you don't do so with the others).

I asked for a dark Harry!fic, and you damn well gave me one. Thanks :)! *saves in memories*

Aww, wow. Lol, I really don't know what to say, like, seriously. *blushes* I'm just so glad you like it. I hadn't been sure about the definition of dark, and then how to write it, so ... if you're sure, then *big hug* I'm just glad it worked.

If I ever write another dark!Harry fic, though, I'll be sure to offer it as a very, very late shadow present. If that makes sense, lol.

Sorry, thought it was just me thinking up odd things in place of real English, lol. When I said "shadow", I was trying to think how to say something which is far behind the real thing, and kinda pale, sort of less ... if that makes any more sense. *facepalm* Lol.

I really, really like this, my dear. Your comment in your author's note about something 'more substantial' sort of implies to me that you possibly think this is too... I don't know. Too short, or... well, insubstantial. And I really don't think it is, my dear. It is short, but it has a real impact - every word carries weight. The repetition of 'was supposed to' and 'it wasn't supposed to' is extremely effective. There's a great deal of substance to it, despite - or in my view, in large part because of - its conciseness. It really hits home, my dear, and I think it's wonderful. *hugs*
