There's a gay Pride band?? Where did you get it from? I've ordered a memorial band too...a couple of weeks ago and it still hasn't showed up. Hmmm. Lol, with the Make Poverty History Band, I had ordered the material one. And when I realised Orlando had the rubber one I ordered that too XD Yes I'm vain, but it's all in the name of Charity!
And I know what you mean. I guess what with Live 8, Red nose Day and the Make Poverty History campaign, charity had been very much up front this year. Plus I was stopped by a very sexy man (who's also in a band. Huzzah!) and asked if I wanted to do a direct debit to Shelter. I totally would have, only thing was that I only have 27p in my bank account. He really would not accept this though, and I hate telling people no. And he was so fit. *sighs* But after a loverly chate I did manage to get away *sighs again* He really was Good looking.
Anyways I'll stop rambling (how is it I only manage to ramble on to you? :P )
Yep. :) A friend at school bought them in bulk from the company through Ebay, I think, so she was selling them at school, and I couldn't resist. If I manage to talk to her, I'll be sure to ask her, but, unfortunately, all I can suggest until then is looking it up on Ebay or Google
( ... )
Lol, ah see I don't even read sites, which would be why I have no clue about it XD
Haha, yes it was hard to think what to say. Especially when he kept looking at my chest. At first I just thought, ah well you're good looking, it don't matter, but it does tend to get annoying *rolls eyes*
Lmao! You could turn the world into a mass of rambling induced insane people. Huzzah!!
#$%!&*(@)+^#! Thank you sooo very much for the paid account!!! I was so surprised to find the notice on my inbox and it kept me shocked for about half an hour straight *_*! I didn't think that anybody would---but really, it's my best present yet =D! And I'm getting another package too?! This is overwhelmeing and I don't know what to say. You are one of the sweetest people I've met online<333!
And about the bands and charity. I have to sadly admit that I'm too poor to give much, but I do donate to some churches and communities that help those in poverty. The only band I possess is the Livestrong yellow one that supports the cancer federation. I truly admire you righteous actions towards others ^_^!
*big hug* Lol, I have to admit it was just done pretty much on the spur of the moment after I saw you mention it. :) And, lol, I'm afraid the package isn't really that much, but hopefully you'll like it anyway. *hug* You definitely deserve it -- you've been such a great friend, and, what with the anime CDs as well, think of it as a little extra thank you, too. :)
Man, it's amazing how many bands there are. It was such a shock when they first came out, and then they just kept coming! I just hope that I can keep this trend of donating and being active going. I always worry that I'm just going through a phase, especially when it's for something important like this. Lol, paranoid, I know, but I swear it's in my genes.
Anyway, *big hug*. :):) So much for trying not to ramble.
With the paid account, a package, and a fic--I really couldn't ask for more! The items you send me are always so thoughtful (speaking of which, I'm wearing the dogtag right now :). You've been so kind and I don't know how to repay you <3!
Being an activist feels great because it involves helping others, which is always a good thing. Once I find a decent job, I wouldn't think twice about donating to charities because giving is all I could really do =)!
Firstly, before I forget, so much love for the icon. Did you make it? Man, where do you get all these great icons from! May I ask what your secrets are?
Secondly, on topic -- The Matrix was great. :) I think I was having an odd evening, though, because at times I was being rather ... analytical and thinking very critically, but more often than not I was just randomly laughing at things that were probably only amusing to me. ;) I really enjoyed it, though, and the fight scenes were really good, though I don't usually like it when you can tell it's been improved with technology, you know? It didn't affect me much here, though, so the whole things was great. :)
And, awww, *hug* thank you -- that's the sweetest thing I've heard all week. :) Well, one of many, actually, now that I think about my ranty post. *hug* Would it sound trite of me to say, "btw, ditto -- without people like you, people like me wouldn't become the people we are"? Or is that just corny and cheap? :P
Oooh, thank you, dear! :D I did make it, in fact - it's from the cover art from WT's Angels single, which you can see here. And hahahahahah, thank you, but I'm not really anything special when it comes to icon-making. :P Ooh, I really like the one you're using here, my dear.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) Normally I don't enjoy improved fight scenes either, but the explanation provided for it made sense to me, so I thought in that particular film it was very cool. :)
And awwwwwwwwww. Thank you, hon. :) Sweetest thing I've heard all week. *hugs tight*
They're all beautiful. :) Really, they always look so clear and just simply beautiful. And thanks for the link -- the picture is lovely. And thanks, too, about the icon. :) It took me forever to sort out text for it, as I was never happy, but I really like the idea of ink on skin, whether it's a permanent tattoo or just temporary ink, like the marks of your life, you know?
Yeah, that's true, it was all handled really well. It was scary to think that something like that could be true, but it's uplifting to think that humans can be so damn stubborn no matter what the reality is. Plus, the characters are all interesting and the fighting's cool. *grin*

And your charity ramblings weren't nonsensical. It made perfect sense to me:)

And thanks. :) It's always nice to know that my point got across somehow. Goodness knows I lose it often enough!
