Free speech, well, tis a double edged sword... Coulter, et al, are able to spout out all their rhetoric :/ I don't, personally, think it's a slam against "feminism" that she exists, but the ones who really make me cringe are those two 70s "anti-ERA" "stay at home and please your husband" women. I may dislike the others but I don't feel like I'm potentially *harmed* by the Paris Hiltons or Bratz dolls or even drunken mother-daughter duos ;)

I don't personally believe she is a slam against feminism. In fact a lot of women look up to her as a feminist success story. She is able to stand up to literally anyone and crush their inner sense of well being. Although I am not prominent in the feminism community, I am curious what other women who consider themselves as feminists has to say about her. The only thought I would have for the women who see Ann as a successful feminist is that since she has such a harsh personality, it could be giving a negative image of what feminism is suppose to represent ( ... )

Well, keeping it outside her personality, she still says plenty of hateful and biggoted shit. She basically serves as the republican party's way of creating someone who says the most absurd things so that their crazy factless bugfuckery can appear more lucid and less like right-wing extremism, and move the goal post of "the center" more and more to right, making people like Bill O'Reilly appear not full-on absurd (while fishing some of the more conservative/bigoted people who actually agree with her).

The one that striked my memory (but it's really really far, far away from her worst ones) is her saying on Bill Maher's show,

"...yes, but I wasn't the one who said women should be allowed to vote".

Oh, yes do I loath her so. However saying that only feeds her and makes her more powerful! We need to shoot her with rainbow guns filled with kittens, puppies, bunnies and other randomly cute things! She shall fall, oh she will! :)
