May I ask where you're originally from?

Aww, thank you.

I am originally from a town of 12,000 Mormons in Eastern Oregon, about 250 miles from here. We spent a LOT of time in Portland before I moved here -- first, my dad's work took him here a lot, and we'd tag along. Later, coming to concerts or even just to get out of Dodge for a while necessitated a trip. So it always felt like my big-city home away from home.

I wish I could've made the walk but dude. I'm still half-awake from not being able to sleep. I'm pretty sure it was because my boys were leaving today. :(
