Twilight

I finished Twilight this morning. It's ... cute. And yeah, I can see why it's so popular with teenage girls. But I kept finding myself reading like a writer. I'm not sure exactly why. But if the story can't grab me and keep me reading like a reader, then the book's not doing its job

That's why I was so disappointed with it. It's okay but not that epic

It doesn't really live up to the hype :/. Though, like I said, I can see the appeal to teenage girls. But it's hardly the wonderful, amazing book people have been saying it is.

I'm about 300 pages away from needing to start on that book. I'm starting to dread it, but I feel that if anything, at least I can say I tried reading it and didn't just bash it without checking it out first. XD

It's enjoyable. Especially if you can mentally put yourself back in high school ^^. Just not really deserving of the "OMG best book EVAR!!!" praise that's been going around.
