My husband told me when I work while my son is in child care that I make $2 an hour so it is not worth it to work then. I cannot just work during school hours in the job I have so we agreed I could quit. Besides it interefered with my coven and kindred and other things I do which I think are important, like getting my son some help with homework after school and being home for him.

yeah, and if it means you being able to make everyone lunches to pack to work (see the bento lunch and eat my bento communities) then you can likely save more than you were making.. store bought and school bought lunches being expensive (and lousy) also dinners....

same with gas costs..

now if its possible, i hope you can find a nice job that has hours that are during the school day, and requires very little commute!
