I just started learning rapper this year, so I'm incredibly new to it. However, I can safely it's really freaking fun. Who wouldn't want to play with twisty steel blades, while doing loud footwork (tapita-tapita-tapita-thud-tapita-tapita-tapita-thud)?
I just started this year as well. And I'm getting the footwork right slowly.
I went looking for Morris Dancing, and then found that I was obviously meant to be there. I went looking for just straightforward folk dancing, and found myself confronted with swords (which I am good with, and didn't have any expectations of at all) and five-pointed stars (which I also wasn't looking for, despite being a dedicated Pagan). So I had the two together, and realised it was fate!
